About Quest…

About Quest…

Quest is a personal Context Operating System that turns scattered digital information into a unified, structured, and computable knowledge space. Instead of letting notes, files, messages, and ideas stay fragmented across apps and devices, Quest organizes them into a private, searchable database that both humans and AI can understand, recall, and reuse. It transforms information overload into actionable intelligence. Quest solves these problems by building the missing context layer that links personal memory, intelligent agents, and cognitive social networks.

How Quest Works?

How Quest Works?

  • Private Space – Automatically ingests emails, files, voice notes, chats, etc., and structures them into modular knowledge blocks using frameworks like PARA. Encrypted, user-owned, cloud-agnostic.

  • Context API – Turns personal knowledge into a programmable layer. AI agents can retrieve context, draft with personal history, or execute workflows using the user’s data — with permission.

  • Public Space – Enables users to publish selected insights and build reputation through citations and shared thinking, forming a network based on ideas instead of identity.

From Idea to Foundation

From Idea to Foundation

birth of quest at 2025.03

I, along with another two cofounder, initiated the idea of Quest at the beginning of 2025 with a strong passion to resolve a new way for people to acquire information online. In the earliest stage, almost every part of the company’s operations fell on my plate — from brainstorming product directions, validating concepts through user interviews, to structuring our first workable roadmap. Looking back, I wasn’t just part of the founding team; I was practically running the business from zero to one.

Operation

Inside the team, I took the role of Chief Operation Officer — organizing stand-up meetings, aligning cross-department workflows, and making sure our ideas didn’t just stay on whiteboards but actually shipped.

On the product side, I led visual design and user interaction. I designed our product’s visual identity using Canva and Figma, and even contributed to front-end implementation for interactive features. Every pixel and every click was something I personally obsessed over.

At the same time, I was also running our entire marketing and community operation across 10+ platforms worldwide, including Discord, Xiaohongshu, Instagram, and more. I built our communication channels from scratch, talked to users almost 24/7, collected feedback, and turned it into actionable product requirements for the tech team. As a result, we accumulated 100k+ views across platforms and several thousand active users — all before any formal launch.

Growing Beyond the Product

Growing Beyond the Product

Outside the product, I managed external strategy and business development, including incubator applications and early-stage fundraising conversations. Eventually, our team was accepted into the Berkeley STEP official campus incubator, which validated not only our idea but also the structure and execution behind it.
